Welcome to Amos Memorial C.M.E. Church
A Spiritual Cornerstone
Located in Los Angeles, CA, we have been divinely positioned to be Kingdom Builders at Amos Memorial C.M.E. Church. This church has a deep, rich, and rooted history within our community as a cornerstone for spiritual growth and service. Under the recent pastoral assignment of Reverend Dr. Nikki Gilliam, the church's mission continues to focus on building a welcoming and inclusive community of faith both in and outside the sanctuary. We seek to encourage every kind of individual to explore and deepen their faith and relationship with God through Jesus Christ offering weekly Sunday Service, Bible Study, Prayer Calls, Fellowship, and more!
To support believers in their faith walks, Amos Memorial incorporates and offers weekly Sunday Worship Service, Bible Study, Prayer Calls, and more. The goal is to encourage deeper faith by learning and fellowshipping with a welcoming Christ-focused community- knowing that "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17)
We pray that members and visitors of our church are touched by the life, ministry, and love of Jesus- that they may be transformative and positive presences within their local and broader communities. Amos Memorial hopes to serve as a sanctuary for fostering not only individual spiritual growth but to glorify the Kingdom of Christ in the larger community!

The Gap
For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Galatians 5:14 (NLT)
We continue to expand our ministries and programs within the church as we grow. We are excited to be beacons of light and God’s love within our congregation and greater community.
